3D Venting System: Universal, Flexible, Powerful, Quiet
What is the 3D Venting system?
3D Venting builds ventilation systems for ELEGOO resin printers, designed and assembled by hand in Charlottesville, Virginia. Each system connects directly to your printer's built-in exhaust port and vents fumes outdoors through a duct — similar in concept to a portable air conditioner window kit.
Resin 3D printing releases volatile organic compounds (VOCs) throughout every stage of operation. Ventilation is required. Our systems are built specifically for ELEGOO printers and provide a direct, tested solution.
Current systems
VENT80 — $79.95
Dual 80mm fans, 120 CFM airflow, 3-inch duct. For standard ELEGOO resin printers.
VENT120 — $99.95
Dual 120mm fans, 250 CFM airflow, 4-inch duct. Higher airflow for larger printers or more demanding setups.
Starter — $19.95
Single fan, 3-inch duct. Entry-level ventilation for budget-conscious users.
How it works
The system attaches to the exhaust port on the back of your ELEGOO printer. A flexible duct runs from the system to a window vent or exterior outlet. The fans pull fume-laden air out of the printer and exhaust it directly outdoors.
No enclosure is required for compatible ELEGOO models. Fresh air must be allowed to enter the room to replace the air being exhausted — leave a window cracked or door open during operation.
Noise
The fans run quietly. The VENT80 and VENT120 are designed for use in home and office environments where noise is a consideration. You can run them overnight without disruption.
Why ventilation matters
The built-in carbon filters in ELEGOO printers reduce odor but do not eliminate VOC emissions. Independent testing found TVOC levels nearly six times the WHO discomfort threshold in a closed room shortly after starting a print. Direct exhaust ventilation — removing fumes at the source before they accumulate — is the required control. All 3D Venting systems are designed for exactly that purpose.
