The Upgraded VENT80 3D Venting System, with its quiet but powerful 80mm internal fans, offers universal compatibility with all resin/SLA and FDM printers. Check out how it works.

Using an enclosure such as a 'grow tent' is not required with compatible resin 3D printers and the universal adapters. (Some 3D printers may require an enclosure.) Please see the details at the bottom of this page. Additionally, an enclosure is required for FDM printers.

Airflow is powered by double inline fans, and is super quiet. Running two fans inside a 4" duct achieves an airflow of 10 MPH or 75 CFM. The volume of the airflow is measured at 30+ complete air changes per minute within a resin 3d printer.

Effectiveness of the ventilation system depends on the size of the area and how well-sealed your setup is. This system has been tested for the specific needs of a single 3d printer with the 4" exhaust duct mounted directly to the printer itself. For larger open spaces or less enclosed environments, a more powerful commercial grade system may be necessary. This product is not rated or tested for applications such as paint spray booth, welding, soldering, or woodworking dust collection.

This system will work with any resin/SLA or FDM 3d printer, and may be combined with other components and upgrades to build your complete solution.

Attachment Adapter 

Many resin 3d printers such as the Elegoo Saturn and Mars line, have an exhaust port for exactly this purpose. Alternatively, some 3d printers may expel air from a vent on the machine, which provides another mount point for ventilation. If neither of these options works for your setup, then see our additional options below.

Its good

This is a good accessory for my Saturn 2 to help reduce the smell and fumes, it made a big difference but it didn't fully eliminate the smell. The setup for easy and the dual fans are a decent extractor, i was kinda hoping for a single solution to solve the smell but however there is still a tiny amount of smell when printing.

Great concept

This is a great concept, I had so much noxious fumes being emitted into the surrounding area. Due to the system not being an air tight system I also needed an enclosure.

Great product and great service!!

The new larger printer also came with a larger smell that I didn't deal with on the smaller printer. I couldn't ignore this. I don't normally do reviews but I have to say their communication was fantastic and the kit arrived fast. Installing was straight forward and easy. You can tell a lot of care went into the design. It connected right to the back of my Elegoo Saturn Ultra 4 with the adapter. I vented it up an unused chimney and there isn't any smell at all anymore. Thanks!

It's working well

I got the 3D Printer Ventilation System from 3D Venting, and I am glad that I did. The whole system is easy to put together and it does work well. The fans run quiet. It significantly reduced the fumes from my resin printer. I do recommend this to anyone, but especially if you have an Elegoo Saturn printer - super easy setup. It's a good idea to reduce the fumes from their 3D printer, and this does the job well.
